iCAS on Virtual Servers

A main advantage of the iTernity's iCAS solution is that it can completely run on a virtual machine. Therefore, users can profit from all advantages of virtual servers without having to reduce security standards.

With the current version 3.6, virtual iCAS appliances are available on VMWare, Citrix, XEN and Hyper-V (VSphere 4 is already supported). The solution is offered as a ‘ready to run’, pre-installed Windows Server 2008 virtual machine, immediately usable on the respective virtual server.

The hp LeftHand architecture is the ideal storage solution to host a virtualised iCAS and its archives.
