iCAS on virtual servers

A main advantage of the iTernity's iCAS solution is that it can be run on a virtual machine. Therefore users can profit from all advantages of virtual servers without having to reduce security standards.

With the current version 3.1 virtual iCAS appliances are available on VMWare (VSphere 4 is already supported). The solution comes as a ‘ready to run’ pre-installed Windows Server 2003/2008 virtual machine usable on VMWare ESX.

HP Lefthand architecture is the ideal storage solution to host a virtualised iCAS and its archives.

From version 3.5 iCAS will also be available for Citrix.
