Why does iCAS create containers and not simply regular files?

iCAS uses our patented container technology to store documents because containers can handle more meta data than common file systems. The most important is the firm link between the creation/retention date and the contents of the container.
The containers are optimized for many small files and the SHA 512 bit hash algorithm offers very good protection against manipulation.
