What is iFSG used for?

iFSG supplies applications with a virtual drive letter I:\. Data stored on that virtual drive is archived on a local disk, using the web service API. iFSG is thus completely transparent, just like any other Windows drive.
Archived data is generally only readable. The data files cannot be modified or renamed. As long as files have not reached the retention date, they cannot be deleted.
