How can I backup the iCAS database?

iCAS does not use a database, so there is no need for backup. The containers themselves contain all the information needed by the iCAS software. For a backup it is sufficient to simply make a copy of the container.
If you use iFSG, we recommend including the iFSG base directory in your backup strategy for a speedy recovery. This avoids the time-intensive reproduction of XML files, which contain the mapping information.
