Does iCAS manage retention times?

Yes, a retention date can be defined per CSC. Data can only be deleted when this date has been reached. The iAdmin and the iFSG explorer can be used to find deletable files and containers. There is no automatic deletion. After files have been removed, the newly available memory can be used again. In iFSG the retention times are determined either via the last access time or on the folder level.
